I’m sure you’ve all heard of Colbert Nation. Well, now there might be a Colbert Space Station. That would totally kick ass!
NASA recently had a poll to name their newest space station. They listed 4 choices (Serenity, Legacy, Earthrise, or Venture), plus allowed people to write in their own choices. “Colbert” won by over 40,000 votes. As someone who is very pro-democratic process, I really hope NASA doesn’t back out and name it Serenity. After all, they did choose to include a write-in option.
And let’s face it, how awesome would it be to have a space station named after Stephen Colbert? (Yes, I voted for this option)
