Times Square

My journey started in New York. J and I flew separate and met up at the airport. Since it was late we checked into the hotel then found food. We weren’t tired so J took me to Times Square. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but I was more satisfied than I hoped! All the lights and the energy was just amazing. We stayed for a while and toured the M&M and Hershey’s stores.

They were doing constriction on some of the streets so they just blocked cars from entering. Instead, the city set out lawn chairs for people to sit down and enjoy the warm – but not too hot!- night. It was great.

I took a ton of pictures but of course none on my phone. Soooo… You’ll just have to wait until I get back!

Update: totally overrated during the day! Stupid slow-moving mobs of tourists. Lol

Your feelings about NY are just like mine, I don’t quite know what I expect when I finally make it there–but I’m sure (from what I’ve heard) that the city will manage to exceed my expectations =) I’m glad you’re blogging again!
