Basically this is saying: Ignore reality; just believe whatever we tell you. What kind of advertisement is this? Perhaps it’s a cult. Either way, I’m totally fascinated by their method of trying to get people in the door.
Ok I previously posted about how I was starting out on eBay and was having a blast. Granted, I’m still having a good time, but for crying out loud, I’ve been having the damnedest time trying to sell things the last couple of weeks.
First, I listed kind of a big item. It sold! I was pretty stoked. Too bad the person never paid me for it. Lame. So after contacting them twice and not receiving any response, I contacted eBay to get this shiz straightened out. This is still a work in progress. Wanting the item out of my house, I re-listed it. I put in the extra money to list it on a 10-day schedule, plus schedule it to end at a particular time. Hey – you gotta do what you gotta do to make some extra $$$!
So this time it’s up for a couple of days (well 2) and I get a question about it. Awesome. I also have 4 people watching it, with over 7 days to go. All of this seems promising. Then I got an email – my item SOLD!!! Score – the person did the Buy It Now option for like $90. That’s amazing.
Pretty crazy! This guy in Kansas won the lottery, not once but TWICE in one year. Granted they weren’t big jackpots, but still $1 million is $1 million!!
I am extremely jealous, but I guess before I start complaining that I havne’t won the lotto, maybe I should start by buying a ticket? Lol
I’ve been cooped up on my couch for the better part of this week. When I haven’t been sleeping or been entertained by friends gracious enough to stop by (some with ice cream!!), I’ve been picking out new shows to watch on TV.
Some winners:
-Surf Patrol: Danger Down Under. First and foremost it’s a show about beaches. Add to that they’re in Australia, and you have the makings for an awesome TV show. Lifeguards go out and help people out of riptides, rescue drowning surfers, etc. And don’t forget that everyone on the show has that Aussie accent you can’t help but love 
-Family Feud. A classic that I have rediscovered. Fast money is the best part!!! It’s especially fun to watch people clam up and give the stupidest answers.
I know, I know, I haven’t been posting ANYTHING lately. Call it the stress of trying to find a new job coupled with pure laziness/needing to get a tan, and a pesky minor surgery that has left me drugged up and sleeping. But no more excuses – I’m back in full effect
Now to find things worthy of time in my blog….
I recently ate at Panda Express, and noticed that my cup was kinda strange:
