Nissan launched a new car…the Cube. I’m not even going to sugarcoat it kids, WTF is this thing? It’s like a toy car, or worse yet, a SmartCar gone wrong. Maybe I’m in the minority, but what’s wrong with the way cars used to look?
No joke, someone actually tried to smuggle birds into the US from Vietnam. That in itself isn’t too interesting, but the manner in which he did it truly shows some imagination…the man strapped the birds to his legs! He was detained at the airport after someone noticed feathers falling out of his pants. LOL can you imagine seeing this?

This is truly a great example of EPIC failure. Courtesy of FailBlog.

This brings me to my next point: 9 out of 10 stupid/weird/crazy things you see in the news happens in either Germany or Florida. I used to love when Adam Carolla was on Loveline. He had this game called Germany or Florida. Basically he would share a news story and callers got on the line to guess where the story took place. I miss Adam Carolla’s presence on Loveline, but at least I still have my Germany or Florida
Thanks to some fabulous insomnia that I’ve been having lately, I’ve found my self entirely exhausted for the last week and a half. After work yesterday I got a bunch of stuff done then decided to vegitate on the couch for a while. I guess I dozed off, which was both a blessing and a nuissance.
I had this crazy dream that I moved to a new city where I knew absolutely no one. I think I was starting some sort of program at a school. I arrived, moved into my on-campus studio apartment and ventured outside. Much to my surprise, there were penguins on campus. Yes, penguins. Of course I was stoked. So the next day I think I was wandering around campus looking for class or something, and again I saw all kinds of penguins and their little babies. I guess I got excited and started chasing them. Well this turned out to be a bad idea, as they got pissed and ganged up on me. All of a sudden I was surrounded by penguins, big and small, and was getting pecked and bitten. I ran and finally made it safely to my apartment, where I found some middle-aged man, who was perhaps a professor or something. He saw how panicked I was and told me I needed to go to the hospital.
Being new to town, I had no idea where a hospital was located, so I started wandering aimlessly. Fortunately I was not attacked again. Eventually I found an ER and the nurses inside looked at me like I was crazy, but signed me in nonetheless. Eventually a doctor came to see me and told me to go home. Then another doctor came in for a second opinion. The second doctor was the hot Aussie doc from House. I was STOKED to say the least. That is until he told me I was dying from the bites on my ankles and neck. He put some Bactine on it to try and make me better and I swear to God I could feel the pain from the sting as though it was actually happening to me. I then woke up SCREAMING.
So now the question becomes which is worse: not sleeping, or sleeping and then waking up screaming from nightmares? I honestly don’t know!
So at the end of this week’s episode of House, there was a clip saying you could go to some website to chat about what had happened. It took me a while to get there to check it out, but when I did I was completely confused and dumbfounded.
Um…wtf is this? It’s like a memorial/tribute page to a fictional character from a TV show. People can pay their respects? There’s a full biography of this character’s “life”? There’s made up farewell notes from other fictional characters on the show? This is some seriously STRANGE shit. I’m pretty creeped out by the fact that it exists.
